Join agriculture experts from the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT), Montana State University Extension, One Montana and Carbon 180 for an afternoon of training on regenerative grazing. There will be classroom instruction and a tour of Montana Highland Lamb farm in Whitehall, owned and operated by NCAT specialist Dave Scott.
Learn how regenerative grazing can increase soil health and reduce the need for fertilizer and irrigation. Information on USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) programs will also be provided.
The training is free and includes lunch. Registration is required. Go to their website for registration. http://www.ncat.org/events/
