2023 Wildlife Speaker Series: Mountain Goats w/ Julie Cunningham (FWP)

On August 16, join Madison Conservation District and Julie Cunningham, a wildlife biologist with FWP, to learn all the latest and greatest about mountain goats!

This event will take place at the Madison Theatre and begin at 5:30pm. Complimentary pizza from the The Alley Bistro will be provided. Beer, wine, and popcorn will be available for purchase from the Madison Theatre.

The Wildlife Speaker Series is an annual series of events hosted by a variety of groups that work with local watersheds and wildlife in southwest Montana. Each event features a guest speaker who talks about one local species’ behavior and impact on the local area. 

The 2023 Wildlife Speaker Series is going to be amazing! 8 topics, 8 locations, 8 opportunities to learn something amazing!

The mission and vision of the Wildlife Speaker Series of SW Montana is as follows

Mission:  To provide free, fun, unbiased and fact-based presentations educating the public about wildlife of SW Montana and the issues facing these animals.  These events are organized and sponsored by a collaborative of local, conservation-oriented groups.

Vision:  We will educate and inspire people to care more about local wildlife and the ecosystems we share with them.
