Don’t miss out on our annual Tributary Blitz which consists of a watershed-wide stream sampling opportunity. Join other volunteers as we come together to collect water quality data, stream samples, and learn about photo point monitoring across multiple tributaries in the Madison Watershed!

Learning Opportunities and Activities  

• Watershed monitoring: Volunteers are assigned to different headwaters and streams, such as those from the Gravelly, Tobacco Root, and Madison Ranges, to assess water quality and identify restoration opportunities.
• Hands-on science: Participants learn basic sampling techniques, record physical and chemical data, and document stream conditions.
• Exploration: Come explore new parts of Montana while contributing to local environmental stewardship!
