Stewardship Award: Call for Nominations

Do you know a good steward?

Who qualifies: Any resident of the Madison Conservation District—teacher, realtor, bartender, rancher—with outstanding stewardship practices, activities, or projects.  We are looking for stewardship efforts that provide lasting benefits to the landscape & community, including educational efforts, streams, riparian areas, forests, rangeland or any other natural resources.

STEWARDSHIP, noun: the conducting, supervising, or managing of something; especially: the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one’s care.
