Data with a Purpose
With hundreds of hours of field work, a significant amount of data is collected by the Madison Stream Team. This data is summarized every year in an annual report, available online for anyone to review.
The report explains the value of our local waterways, the parameters that are included in sampling, and the result from the year’s work. With these results summarized, we can see where restoration activities are making an impact, and areas where additional work may be necessary to improve conditions.
Additionally, the Madison Conservation District has partnered with Montana State University Extension Water Quality to provide data on a publicly accessible interface through the Data Hub. You can visit the Data Hub by clicking here.
