Our 2025 Community Field Tour Highlighted All Things Compost!

The Compost Field Day, held on September 19th at the Madison Valley Ranchlands Group’s (MVRG) Carcass Compost Site in Norris, brought together community members, ranchers, and natural resource professionals to learn about composting in action.

Hosted in partnership with MSU Extension and MVRG, the event featured presentations covering the basics of composting, livestock mortality composting, and compost applications for homes, gardens, and small businesses.
