New Conservation Program Manager on our team
Colin Threlkeld joined the Madison CD team this August as our new Conservation Programs Manager. If you bump into Colin, be sure to welcome him to our community!
Colin is originally from the southern foothills of Appalachia in Northeast Georgia. Colin attended the University of Georgia where he received a Bachelor of Forest Science degree and a Certificate of Organic Agriculture. He participated in timber production research, worked on multiple family-owned local farms and ranches, guided tourists on horseback in Alaska and Oregon, and worked in the private sector as a carpenter for many years prior to moving to Montana. Since moving to Montana, Colin has worked closely with many Conservation Districts east of the Continental Divide performing grant writing, data entry, and all taxa invasive species education and outreach with the Central & Eastern Montana Invasive Species Team.
